truckers are overweight, uneducated
poverty-stricken gypsies who sleep under
bridges, we're not for you. If you are
hoping to hear Red Sovine and CW McCall,
we're not for you. If think that bringing new revenue to your station
is not your responsibility, we're
not for you. If you expected to hear
trucker "CB lingo", we're not for you. We
don't do that. If you prefer people who don't
break the rules, we're not for you.
OK, now that a few
politically correct "Programming 101"
PDs have already left this web page, we can
talk.
Trucker Radio
is a fun, sometimes out-of-control radio
show featuring today's best Country hosted by two
unbalanced radio
pros.
Stan Campbell
is a Canadian, having worked on
air in Toronto, Nashville and Cincinnati and
hosted a morning show on Country giant KLAC
in Los Angeles for five years. Tim Denis
currently hosts a morning talk
show in the Niagara region. Stan & Tim have
known each other for years, so the
chemistry works. Our show guests and
reporters are chosen carefully for their
personalities and sense of humor. (you can't
be on this show unless you have a funny
bone) Some of our characters come from
Second City in Toronto.
People have told us
that the demo needs to be short. Well,
that's another "Programming 101" rule. It's
as short as YOU want to be. If you don't
like the first 30 seconds...then that's how
long it is. (We got in trouble for forcing
people to listen to the whole thing.) If you love it, then it's about
12 minutes. Your choice. |
